Sights in a Day

When we look up, it widens our horizon. We see what little speck we are in the universe, so insignificant, and we all take ourselves so seriously, but in the sky, there are no boundaries. No differences of caste or religion or race. ~Julia Gregson

I came across this as I was listening to “The Way You Look Tonight” by Frank Sinatra.  It makes me miss Nate and how he would randomly slow dance with me or sing to me.  88 days until I see him again!  What a great day that will be but I’m thankful for the present as well :)

Although the 10 hour drive home is long and mostly lacking in scenery I am always amazed at the view of the Black Hills at the end of my trip.  It’s so rewarding and God blesses me every time I drive into the area.  I hope this summer is filled with time where God can use me and I can realize how blessed I am by him in his beautiful nature!

summer, summer, summer!

My mind is focused onsummerif you haven’t noticed from all of my recent posts.  I’m super excited for it because it will bring lots of new opportunities that I haven’t gotten to experience before.  I will be workingallsummer without going on any youth group trips, I will be in a long distance relationship over the summer, I am going to be leading a book/Bible study for girls in my youth group, I won’t be attending camp or going on vacation with my family and I may be working during the motorcycle rally at Harley Davidson and I’ll have pen pals this summer.  So many opportunities to help me learn more about life and myself and what I truly value.  I’m excited for it and also a little nervous.  God knows what’s best for me and will grow me through these changes so I’m excited to unfold each new day with my Savior and lover of my soul.
